USS Kearsarge (BB-5) from the right
Here we see the Kearsarge class battleship USS Kearsarge (BB-5) from the right, giving us an excellent view of the layout of her guns. At each end we have her rather unusual double turrets, with two 13in guns in the larger turret at the base and twin 8in guns in a turret on the roof. Along the side of the ship we see seven 5in guns carried in casemates along the upper deck, with four 57mm guns in open positions above them.
