USS Kasaan (CVE-69) from the left
Here we see the Casablanca class escort carrier USS Kasaan (CVE-69) from the left. From this angle we get a good view of the way the flight deck was added on top of the original merchant ship hull, leaving gaps at the bow and stern between the new structures and the original.
