Here we see the Atlanta class light cruiser USS Juneau (CL-52) at New York on 11 February 1942. Two months after the American entry into the war she has been painted in wartime camouflage, very different to the dazzle camo of the First World War.

Nicely organised, with the wartime service records separated out from the main text, so that the design history of the light cruisers flows nicely.
