USS John R Craig (DD-885), Pacific, 1978
Here we see the Gearing class destroyer USS John R Craig (DD-885) in the Pacific on 30 March 1978, when she was serving as a training ship with the US Naval Reserve at San Diego. She is still equipped with her ASROC launcher (between the funnels) and two triple tubes for anti-submarine torpedoes in front of the bridge.
