USS John D Edwards (DD-216) transfering movies and laundry from USS Saratoga (CV-3)
Here we see laundry and movies being transfered between the Clemson class destroyer USS John D Edwards (DD-216) and the carrier USS Saratoga (CV-3), although it isn't entirely clear which way the load is moving. Presumably the Saratoga had a bigger range of films on board, and a better equipped laundry.
