USS Iowa (BB-61) fires full broadside, Puerto Rico, 1984
Here we see the Iowa class battleship USS Iowa (BB-61) firing a full broadside from her nine 16in guns and six of her 5in guns off Peurto Rico on 1 July 1984. The aft turret has fired first, creating a massive pressure wave visible across the sea, and the foreward turret is yet to fire. Note the rectangular missile contains around the superstructure and the helicopter landing pad at the stern.
