USS Goff (DD-247) from the front
Here we see the Clemson class destroyers USS Goff (DD-247) from the bows, giving a good view of her rigging, probably quite early in her career, when radios required large aerials and elaborate rigging. We can also see the rigging for the awning, designed to shelter the crew from the sun in peacetime operations in hot climates.
