USS Frederick (ACR-8), Montevideo Uruguay c.1917-18
Here we see the armoured cruiser USS Frederick (ACR-8) at Montevideo, Uruguay, presumably at some point between May 1917 and January 1918 when she was operating in the South-east Atlantic. Her arrival has clearly caused quite a stir judging by the crowds to the right.
