USS Farragut (DD-348) from above, August 1944
Here we see the Farragut class destroyer USS Farragut (DD-348) from above at some point in August 1944, possibly on her way back to the United States for an overhaul at the Puget Sound Navy Yard. From this angle we can see the exposed backs to the gun shields on her forward guns, and the entirely exposed rear guns. We also get a good view of her torpedo tube mounts.
