USS Fanshaw Bay (CVE-70) from a blimp
This picture of the Casablanca class escort carrier USS Fanshaw Bay (CVE-70) was taken from a blimp on 26 November 1943 during the carriers trials. The carrier's number can be sen on the flight deck, as can a rather mysterious object under covers near the bows.
