USS Enterprise (CV-6) firing AA Guns, 1942
Here we see teh crew of the Yorktown class carrier USS Enterprise (CV-6) firing some of their anti-aircraft guns during a carrier raid on the Marshall Islands on 1 February 1942. Compared to later carriers she looks very under-armed with a handful of single mounted machine guns in action.
