USS Decatur (DD-341) at New York, 1943
Here we see the Clemson class destroyer USS Decatur (DD-341) at the New York Navy Yard on 7 August 1943. At this point the Decatur was in the middle of a series of convoy escort missions from the US to the Mediterranean. She made five round trips between 11 February and 1 October 1943,
