Here we see the Clemson Class Destroyer USS Corry (DD-334) being launched at the Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corp's Union Plant on 28 March 1921. The inset shows Mrs Sarah M.E. Corry, the ship's sponsor, and probably the widow of Lt Commander William Corry, who had died in the previous years of burns suffered after an aircraft crash
