USS Copahee (CVE-12) off Mare Island, 1943
Here we see a stern view of the Bogue class escort carrier USS Copahee (CVE-12) off the Mare Island Navy Yard on 9 May 1943. This shows us the space under the rear of the flight deck, and several of the gun platforms that jutted out from the hull. Also note the aircraft at the rear of the flight deck.
