Mk XIII aircraft torpedo on USS Copahee (CVE-12)
Here we see the after part of the body and the tail section of a Mk XIII aircraft torpedo on the flight deck of the Bogue class escort carrier USS Copahee (CVE-12) on 29 October 1943. The low camera angle does somewhat exagerate the size of these torpedoes, which had a diameter of 22in.
