USS Columbus (CG-12), 1974
Here we see the Baltimore class cruiser USS Columbus (CG-12) in 1974, after her conversion into a guided missile cruiser. Most of her superstructure had been rebuilt, her guns removed, and missile launchers added in several locations. At this point she was the last cruiser serving with the Atlantic Fleet.
