Radar Antenna on USS Clarence K Bronson (DD-668), 1945
Here we see the gun control equipment on the Fletcher class destroyer USS Fletcher (DD-668), consisting of a Mk 37 director (looking like a turret without guns), with the rectangular antenna for the Mk 12 gun control radar on top, and the 'orange' peel antenna for the Mk 22 height finder radar attached to the left (as seen). This radar set was installed on the directors in 1944.
