USS Charles Ausburn (DD-294) carrying a Naval Aircraft Factory TS-1 Floatplane
Here we see the Clemson class destroyer USS Charles Ausburn (DD-294) with a Naval Aircraft Factory TS-1 Floatplane on a platform in front of the bridge at some point in 1923. The TS-1 needed to be lowered onto the surface of the water before it could operate, althohgh the crane isn't visible here.
