USS Brownson (DD-518), New York, April 1943
Here we see the forward guns and bridge of the Fletcher glass destroyer USS Brownson (DD-518), at the New York Navy Yard on 27 April 1943. Soon after this picture was taken she carried out one voyage to North Africa and back, before moving to the Pacific.
