This picture shows the Bainbridge class destroyer USS Barry (DD-2) fitting out during 1902-3. Most of the superstructure is in place, but the gun is missing from the bridge platform, as is the platform roof. This picture gives a good view of the raised forecastle used on the Bainbridge and Paul Jones class ships.
