Crew of USS Barnes (CVE-20), 1946
Here we see some of the officers and crew of the Bogue class escort carrier USS Barnes (CVE-20) in front of their ship at San Diego on 13 April 1946. About 300 men are seen here, about half of her full crew. The Barnes had returned to the US in March and would soon be decommissioned, so this was probably all that was left of her full crew.
