USS Aulick (DD-569), Mare Island, 24 February 1945
Here we see the Fletcher class destroyer USS Aulick (DD-569) off the Mare Island Navy Base on 24 February 1945, the day she began sea trials after repairs to damage caused by a kamikaze attack in Leyte Gulf on 29 November 1944.
