USS Albany (CA-123) being converted into Guided Misile Cruiser
Here we see the Baltimore class heavy cruiser USS Albany (CA-123) being converted into a guided missile cruiser at the Boston Navy Yard, c.1958. When this picture was taken her superstructure had been removing ready to be replaced with the new missile cruiser layout.
