S-Boat S-13 from left

Here we see the German S-Boat S-13, an early model with the torpedo tubes exposed on top of the bow structure. This boat is described as part of either the S-7 or S-10 group in different sources. These early models were soon judged to be too slow for active service and most survived the war. S-13 came to Britain after the war, and was soon sold.
