Late production North American P-51D from below-front
This North American P-51D Mustang is a late model D, and can be identified by the combination of the bubble cockput and the tail fillet. This is probably North American Mustang P-51D-5-NA (44-13258), seen in a seperate photograph in the same wartime publication, and which had identical oil stains!
