LVG C.VI from the front
This front view of the LVG C.VI shows us the front of the exposed engine, and the chimney exhaust, which took the combined exhausts and vented them above the wings and to one side of the pilot's view. Despite this rather crude looking engine installation, over 1,000 of the LVG C.VI were produced and it served throughout 1918.
