Bow view of Landing Craft Assault
This picture shows a group of Royal Marines in a British Landing Craft Assault (LCA), the smallest British-built landing craft used on D-Day. The forwarding firing Vickers gun mounted on the left of each landing craft can just be seen on the right of this picture.
