HMCS St. Croix, 1941
Here we see the former Clemson class destroyer USS McCook (DD-252) as the Town class destroyer HMCS St Croix at Reykjavik 1941. She was transferred to the Royal Navy under the terms of the Destroyers for Bases Deal and served with the RCN for two years before being sunk by a U-boat on 20 September 1943.
