A.E.G. PE Triplane from the right

Here we see the A.E.G. PE triplane, the only armoured ground attack aircraft to be built as a biplane. Note the smooth fairing protecting the top of the engine, a distinct improvement over the exposed engines of most A.E.G aircraft.
