A.E.G. C.IV and Crew, Palestine, 1916

Here we see the crew of an A.E.G. C.IV sitting in their aircraft in Palestine at some point in 1916. This picture gives us a good view of the rather awkward engine installation, with half of the engine jutting up out of the nose and blocking the pilots view, with pipes linking the engine to the large radiator dangling from the upper wing right above his head.
