A.E.G. C.IV with cine-camera

Here we see an AEG C.IV carrying a cine-camera in the rear observers cockpit, along with a third crew member to operate the camera. The box carried above the camera contains a spare film. One does wonder quite how useful the normal observer would be in this set-up - he appears to have very little room to move, or to operate his gun. The picture was taken on the Palestine front at some point in 1917-18.
