Lockheed Hudson of No.500 Squadron, Ghisonaccia Corsica

Here we see a Lockheed Hudson of No.500 Squadron at Ghisonaccia on Corsica. The aircraft was the first Allied aircraft to land on this airfield, arriving soon after the Germans pulled out. The single machine gun in the nose was installed by the squadron.
