380mm Gun of Todt Battery
Here we see one of the 380mm guns in the Todt Battery, located near Cape Gris-Nez in the Pas de Calais. These guns were used to bombard Kent causing 216 civilian deaths, but attempts to use them against shipping all failed. They were overrun by ground troops advancing from Normandy in 1944.
