2nd Escort Group, c. June-September 1944
Here we see four ships from the 2nd Escort Group, (from front to back) HMS Loch Fada, HMS Wren, HMS Dominica and HMS Loch Killin at sea at some point between June 1944 when the Loch Fada, Dominica and Loch Killin joined the group and September 1944 when HMS Starling, from where the picture was taken, left the group. The Wren was a Black Swan class sloop, the Dominica was a colony class frigate and the Loch Killin and Loch Fada were Loch class frigades.
