British 155mm Gun near Tilly
Here we see a British 155mm gun (the American 'Long Tom') firing at targets to the south-west of Tilly-sur-Seulles. The village itself fell to the British on 18 June, after being taken and lost repeated in heavy fighting that started soon after D-Day.
