Allied troops at Suvla finally attack the Turks, but two weeks have passed since they landed and the Turkish defenses are too strong to be broken.
Eastern Front
Tsar Nicholas II moves Grand Duke Nicholas from the main Eastern Front to the Caucasus Front, and takes direct command on the Eastern Front. The Tsar is now linked directly to military failures on the front, a move that erodes his popularity.
