Fieseler Fi 156B
The Fieseler Fi 156B was to have been a civil version of the Storch, equipped with automatic moveable slots on the wing leading edge. This would have given the aircraft a higher cruising speed than the fixed slots used on the A, C and D series, but a high cruising speed was of no interest to the Luftwaffe, and so the pre-production B-0s aircraft were the only members of the B series to be built. At least five were completed, with work numbers from 621 to 625.
