First World War.Com, a very high quality site with good coverage, and a wide variety of materials, including lesser known poems and songs. Highly recommended.Photos of the Great War, a collection of over 1,800 pictures from the Great War, covering just about every aspect and area of the war. Gives a good feeling of the scope and destruction of the war. CURRENTLY NOT WORKING
World War One: Trenches on the Web, a very good website dedicated to the First World War.
Hellfire Corner, site that includes a good selection of battlefield tours and a wide selection of vry varied articles.
Veterans Affairs Canada: First World War. The website of the Canadian Ministry for Veterans, it's first world war section has a nice selection of interviews with veterans and extracts from diaries.
The Great War: 1914-1918. A superb, well researched site with a fantastic section on the second battle of Ypres.
World War One in the News. A website that keeps track of news stories related to the First World War
The Best World War I Images - A good selection of links to collections of First World War pictures.
Special Delivery: A short animated film in which a Fokker Triplane assembles itself.
