Eighth Air Force Heavy Bomber Mission No. 149: Massive force of 546 targets sent to attack targets in France, including air-depots in Bordeaux/ Merignac, Cognac/ Chateaubernard, La Rochelle/ Laleu and St. Jean d'Angely and targets at Ivry and Bois de Colombes, Paris. Nine aircraft are lost.
