The Wickes class destroyer USS Murray (DD-97) is launched at Quincy, Mass. She operated in European waters late in the First World War and then served as a minelayer in the immediate post-war period.
The Wickes class destroyer USS Ramsay (DD-124) is launched at Newport News. She entered service too late for the First World War, but that served as a light minelayer and anti submarine patrol vessel during the Second World War.
