The Reggiane Re.2003 was a reconnaissance aircraft developed from the Re.2002 fighter bomber. It was lengthened to make space for a second crew member, the observer, who sat behind the pilot under a single long canopy. One Re.2002 was converted to this standard, making its first flight on 29 June 1941. In December 1941 Reggiane received an order for 200 Re.2003s, but it was cancelled during 1942 and none were produced.
