The Albatros C.VIII N was a night bomber developed in 1917 but that never entered service. It was a standard Albatros two-seat design, but with a wider three span biplane wing, and by the standards of 1917 it was underpowered, using a 160hp Mercedes D.III engine. The small bomb load was carried under the lower wings. At least one example was built, but it never entered service.
