Wireless Room in Atlantic Liner, c.1912
Here we see the sort of wireless room that was installed on Atlantic liners c.1912. This is sometimes said to have been the wireless room on the Titanic, but that isn't the case. It was used as an example of wireless rooms on liners in news reports about the sinking of the Titanic, which is probably where the confusion came from. The Titanic's wireless rooms were internal rooms, with no external windows.
