US Troops disembarking at Casablanca
Here we see US troops disembarking from two massive troopships at Casablanca during Operation Torch. The ship nearest to the camera may be the Mariposa, a large troop transport that took part in the invasion, and is shown in wartime photographs with the same arrangement of life rafts and life boats.
