Tehran Gate, Qazvin, 1918
Here we see the Tehran Gate in the city of Qazvin, with troops from the British Dunsterforce walking around it. Dunsterforce was sent across northern Persian to join forces fighting the Soviets, and to protect the oilfields at Baku. Qazvin was on their route.
