Submarine Scout Airship SSZ 59 lands on HMS Furious
Here we see the Submarine Scout airship SSZ 59 landing on the aft flight deck of HMS Furious on 27 May 1918. This wasn't an easy process, involving a large number of the ship's crew holding the airship down until it could be properly secured. A later picture from the same day shows the airship pulled down nicely onto the deck.
