Here we see two Soviet soldiers carrying a Soviet M1910 Maxim machine gun over rough ground to the north-west of Stalingrad, during the Soviet offensive that cut off the German Sixth Army. The gun has been split into several loads for carriage - here we can see the gun itself (right) and the wheels and carriage (left).
