Here we see Soviet troops advancing on the outskirts of Stalingrad. A line of troops can be seen taking shelter along the back of the ridge at the top left, suggesting the Germans were in that direction, and that the troops advancing here were probably protected to some extent. However explosions from artillery can be seen in the background.
