Gunners from South African Heavy Artillery, England
Here we see men from the South African Heavy Artillery at their base in England. This regiment moved to the Western Front in 1916, and served as individual batteries for most of the rest of the war. They went to France armed with Ordnance BL 6-in 26cwt howitzers,
