Here we see a Schwerer Panzerspahwagen (Fu) Sd. Kfz 232 (8-rad) (left) and a Schwerer Panzerspahwagen Sd. Kfz 231 (8-rad) (right) on railway flat cars in Norway in 1940. This Sd.Kfz 232 carries the large frame aerial which made it easy to identify it as a radio car but also gave it a good range of 70km for voice transmission.
